Terraform fixes the issue where 20 people build infra manually and wonder why others didn’t do it the way they did it. The answer isn’t because you did it wrong, it’s because you were focusing on some aspect of the build that someone else wasn’t. The combination of 20 folks’ knowledge makes a very good piece of infra. When all that is codified, every new piece of infra is built like 20 people touched it, but now you only need 1! Plus it lets you see all the buttons someone pressed to make what you now see, even without access to the system.
